Entry of new records, edit or view policy information, premiums etc.
Client information has been previously entered; proceed to enter new policy details.
Automatically produces next policy id ,this is a unique value which appears on all
Invoices/Schedules.
Contact Information - default information from contacts. Check commissions applicable!
Sundry -
Master - record grouping information.
Funding information, set GST by default.
History - all transaction edits on policy.
Policy Search - quick search by policy id.
Risk is a description field.
Choose from drop down menus; Underwriter - complete information and Underwriter.
Note: Tables are updated from contact default settings.
Stage and Status are dropdown choice menus and should be altered according.
Contact Information - default information from contacts.
Check commissions applicable! 'Term' auto updates 'Days'
Calendar - dropdown for Inception automatically inserts due dates
and Renewal dates as per 'Term', as does Cover S/E.
Closed - To close policy, proceed to print closing.
Renewal, Endorsement and Installment Tabs will update
'Inception, Due ,Renewal dates and Status, however, if for any reason the initial dates where different,
you should check the dates and 'Term' are correct.
At any stage the information can be edited, however, you must check Payment Status First.
Proposal Information received from client and forwarded to underwriter dates.
Archived - Policy is archived ie. closed financial year.
-Ticking opens view of all policies from archives.
Renewal, Endorsement, Return: Special buttons to reproduce current policy information for updating values.
Note: Installments will only be accessible after post of master Premium, or Renewal.
Information appears on post.
Compute state specified default duties in setup information.
Compute commission as default, unticking allows for net premiums to be entered.
Risk Class - for information on type of business.
Summary of current divisional balances on policy monies.
Policies overview: Premium Funding Indicator, Search policy field and GST indicator.

Policy Premiums
Policy Premiums

Policy premium R/E/I Buttons

Renewal/Endorsement/Instalments.
On click, these Tab Buttons will auto create an updated policy.
You must then complete New Premium amounts, and update
any relevant part of the record accordingly.


Note: If you hit these buttons in Error, hit CANCEL X .

In order to process records without the need for duplicating entry, this special
Premium dropdown menu offers a selection whereby all current data will be duplicated

Renewals -This feature allows for fast renewals as it updates the date range of policy and changes the
Status. Endorsements - New items or situations can be added or removed with the endorsement choice.
These can be premium "0" but the invoice will reflect the changes.
Instalments - allows for part payments by clients, whereby the record has a master file first and
the record is automatically split for separate invoicing of the applicable amounts.
Return Premium- will bring forward all current data as negatives, you can then edit these amounts in the
Case of pro rata returns.
A Policy schedule report will reflect the current "STATUS" of the schedule automatically.

Current Information is displayed for payments, further records are
available for viewing when these buttons are clicked.

Where GST on premiums or Fees is applicable, tick to automatically calculate.

Click on red header to display grid.
After receipt is posted, Owing is updated to show balance, and Client payment history is updated.

After Broker Run, payment detail is updated.
Policy Premium Broker GST Paid, auto updated on payment.

On click, the history will display in a yellow grid, on the left hand side over the blue grid.
On double click anywhere in the history grid, history will close and the blue grid reappears.

Policy Premiums Notes
By selecting the icon on the bottom left task bar, a window will appear over the grid area.
Notes entry screen for unlimited narrative detail. These will appear on schedule.

When Browsing, Inserting or Editing Premium details, mode will display in navigation bar at the top of the form.
Policies Browse, Edit and Insert mode will display at the bottom of the form.


Policy Agents Tab
Where the policy has an agent, choose to enter information here.
All relevant information for contact chosen will be automatically updated from default contact area.

Agent Grid above, displays all entered information in columns.
Payment details will be updated for display as they are processed.
Agent Drop Down Pick list for choice of Agent.

Policy Situations Tab. (LINES)
After the completion of Premiums, the policy must have a situation address.
In the case of multiple addresses, each address can be inserted under a new line number.
Individual interested parties/mortgagers may be entered here for notification.

Note: Address should not be a post office box.

Policy Situation Address  will insert primary address from client details.

When Browsing, Inserting or Editing Situation Lines details, mode will display in navigation bar at the top of the form.

Policy Items Tab.
Enter policy Items under section level as determined by Underwriter.
List section name and risk, sum insured and excess applicable.
Individual interested parties/mortgagers may be entered here for notification.

Policy Vehicles Tab.
Enter vehicle detail.
For fleet added and removed dates, select from calendars.
The type of overnight parking, transmission etc can be chosen in the drop down menus.
Individual interested parties/mortgagers may be entered here for notification.

On click, button selected will open memo field for detail entry.
Accessories, Alarms and Modifications. These will appear on schedules.

Policy Drivers Tab
Enter all driver details, inserting new record for each driver.
Enter complete name, drop down calendar or manual D.O.B.
Auto age insert. Enter current established no claim bonus.
Narrative field for previous insurer details.
Enter all driving offences and claim history detail in memo fields.

Id fields are automatically updated from Config.

For any additional excesses, use this form.
Change Section number for each section applicable. These will appear on schedules.

Where a policy has subsidiary companies, enter details here.

Policy Wordings Tab.
To enter specific wordings in two categories, top of schedule and end of schedule.

In setup you can complete all section wording for easy drop down menu selection.
